Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, a popular Indian drama was a story about a 6-year girl, Kashi, who wants to live her dreams. The drama has put under microscopic view the prevailing conditions in rural regions of India especially Bihar, where upper caste individuals exploit and torture the lower castes. The village of Bihar, Dholkipur is where the little girl lives and  wishes to go to school to fulfill her dreams. She wants her parents to be proud of her and become educated and learned. However, Kashi and her parents soon realise that its a rich man’s world as the upper caste elite rulers cause great hindrance in their daughter’s bright future plans. Despite the right of every individual to education and school the rich elite go through immense trouble to make sure that Kashi is not able to get any form of education. There resistance lies in their ego and making sure that the demarcating boundaries between upper class are lower class are not blurred.
